WELCOME TO PINNACLE BASKETBALL
Pinnacle Basketball’s Player Development Program is designed to increase players intellectual ability and physical capacity of the sport. This goal is met each session by engaging in purposeful and intentional game like scenarios to ensure various skills are transferred to authentic game play. Sessions are uniquely designed for individual players ability and skill level.

Prior to becoming a player development coach, Todd Cooper was a 1998 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh, NY, where he was a part of two state final appearances. He then went on to play for legendary coach Jere Quinn at St. Thomas More Prep in Connecticut, then played DII at American International College in Springfield, MA.
Todd finally fulfilled his dream of playing professional basketball by playing two seasons in Mexico.
Since then, Todd has had the opportunity to learn from a number of player development coaches around the country, such as Ganon Baker, Jerry Powell, and NBA champion Phil Handy, while working closely with retired NBA player development coach Billy Bayno.
He then coached at the DII Junior college level, high school, Nike EYBL level, and with Rajawali Medan a professional team in the IBL (Indonesian Basketball League) in Southeast Asia.
Todd works diligently with high school, college, and professional athletes around the world utilizing a unique style of training that emphasizes decision making through game enhancement scenarios.
Coach Todd Cooper
Notable Player
Enrolling our daughters with Coach Cooper was the best decision we've ever made. Our older daughter's basketball journey is a testament to his coaching. Initially, she barely saw playing time on her AAU team, which was incredibly frustrating. Coach Cooper's guidance completely transformed her game.
She not only made her high school varsity team, but also earned a scholarship to the prestigious Storm King Prep School.
As her confidence grew, she managed to have stellar performances against some of NYC’s top AAU programs such as New Heights and Gauchos.
Currently at Johnson & Wales University, she's a starter and currently one of the country’s leaders in three-point shooting as a freshman. We only wish we'd connected with Coach Cooper sooner!
Now, our younger daughter is benefiting from his expertise, and she's already made her high school varsity team as a 7th grader.
